Hey there, and welcome back to Sonia Voyage!🌻
Don't forget to have a drink, okay? I want all readers who come here to be healthy and happy❤
Today, we’re taking a fun little trip into the world of love or at least, the world of what I imagine love to be. Confession time, I don’t have a lover right now (cue the violins 🎻), but that didn’t stop me from daydreaming about what it might feel like. After all, who says you need to be in love to write about it, right?
You see, poetry is like a playground for the mind. You don’t need real-life experiences to explore big emotions; sometimes, all it takes is a spark of imagination. So, there I was, imagining myself caught up in this whirlwind of feelings complete with late-night talks, shared struggles, and the kind of deep connection that makes you feel like you’re in your own little world. The result? A poem that’s part fantasy, part emotion, and a whole lot of heart.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: how can someone who’s not in love write about love? Well, that’s the beauty of poetry it’s not bound by reality! It lets you dream, explore, and create something beautiful out of thin air. And who knows? Maybe one day, I’ll look back at this poem and think, “Wow, I was really onto something.”
Alright, no more typing. Here’s my poetic take on love brought to you by my very active imagination and just a touch of wishful thinking.
A Lover
by Uni Sonia Yulianti
When the dark comes we need each other
In the middle of the night we are together
In confused situation like a water
The time walking and feel little well after
The pain is stab
The scratch still blood
I know, we are in the trap
But no one understood
What kind of feeling could be helper?
Except the light that we have as a lover
Burn the iron and we will out
Then see those people faces in freezeout
This love would never could describe
Because we are still have the vibe
Although when riding in the wrong side
We help each other for better life
ANALYSIS OF THE POEM
"When the dark comes we need each other, In the middle of the night we are together"
The speaker emphasizes the importance of companionship during difficult times, symbolized by darkness and nighttime. It suggests that in moments of uncertainty or fear, having someone by your side is crucial.
"In confused situation like a water, The time walking and feel little well after"
Life’s challenges can feel fluid and uncertain ("like water"), but as time passes, things tend to stabilize or improve, bringing some sense of relief ("feel little well after").
"The pain is stab, The scratch still blood"
The speaker expresses deep emotional pain, comparing it to a stabbing wound and a bleeding scratch, indicating that the hurt is fresh and unresolved.
"I know, we are in the trap, But no one understood"
The speaker acknowledges feeling trapped, perhaps in a difficult relationship or situation, and highlights the loneliness of being misunderstood by others.
"What kind of feeling could be helper? Except the light that we have as a lover"
The speaker wonders what could bring comfort or help, concluding that the only solace comes from the love they share, which is described as a light guiding them through their struggles.
"Burn the iron and we will out, Then see those people faces in freezeout"
This line suggests a determination to overcome obstacles ("burn the iron") and break free from their difficulties. The "freezeout" could refer to the cold reaction of others or a sense of victory over those who doubted them.
"This love would never could describe, Because we are still have the vibe"
The speaker feels that the depth of their love is beyond words, yet the connection they share ("vibe") is still strong and palpable.
"Although when riding in the wrong side, We help each other for better life"
Even when making mistakes or facing challenges ("riding in the wrong side"), they support each other, striving to improve their lives together.
Overall Analysis
The poem captures the essence of a love that is both intense and complicated. It speaks to the idea that true love shines brightest in difficult times, providing strength and comfort when faced with pain, misunderstanding, and challenges. The recurring theme of light versus darkness symbolizes hope and resilience, while the imagery of wounds and traps conveys the emotional toll that such a relationship can take. Despite the struggles, the speaker believes in the power of their love to overcome adversity and guide them toward a better future.
So there you have it my daydream turned poetry. Writing this felt like going on an adventure in a world where love is both thrilling and challenging, even if I’ve never actually been there myself. But that’s what makes poetry so exciting! You get to explore places and feelings that are just waiting in the corners of your mind, waiting to be brought to life with words.
If you’ve ever caught yourself imagining what it would be like to be in love, or if you’ve got any other wild ideas bouncing around in your head, why not turn them into poetry? You don’t need to wait for life to happen sometimes, the best inspiration comes from what could be rather than what is.
I hope it inspired you to let your own creativity run wild. Whether you’re in love, dreaming about it, or just curious, poetry is the perfect way to explore all those what-ifs and maybes. Until next time, keep dreaming, keep writing, and keep imagining the endless possibilities!
Thanks for joining me on this imaginative journey!
