Verses of Envy: Poetry from a Jealous Heart (Poetry Analysis)

Welcome back to Sonia Voyage!🌻 Hey, how are you? Don't forget to have a drink, okay?   I want all readers who come here to be healthy and happy❤ Today, we’re diving into the complex and often overwhelming world of our own minds. Have you ever felt trapped by your thoughts, like they were holding you hostage and there was no way out? I know I have.  In my latest poem, "The Prison of Mind," I explore the darker side of our mental landscape where overthinking, envy, and self-doubt can make us feel like we’re our own worst enemies. I wrote this piece as a way to confront those emotions that we all try to hide behind a smile and a casual "I'm fine." Sometimes, we carry a lot more weight than we let on, and it’s important to acknowledge those feelings, even if just to ourselves. As I penned this poem, I found myself reflecting on how easy it is to get lost in negative thoughts, letting them spiral until they become a prison of our own making. But by writing abo...

Poetry Analyzing : English Poem (A Lover)

Hey there, and welcome back to Sonia Voyage !🌻 Don't forget to have a drink, okay?   I want all readers who come here to be healthy and happy❤ Today, we’re taking a fun little trip into the world of love or at least, the world of what I imagine love to be. Confession time, I don’t have a lover right now (cue the violins 🎻) , but that didn’t stop me from daydreaming about what it might feel like. After all, who says you need to be in love to write about it, right? You see, poetry is like a playground for the mind. You don’t need real-life experiences to explore big emotions; sometimes, all it takes is a spark of imagination. So, there I was, imagining myself caught up in this whirlwind of feelings complete with late-night talks, shared struggles, and the kind of deep connection that makes you feel like you’re in your own little world. The result? A poem that’s part fantasy, part emotion, and a whole lot of heart. Now, I know what you’re thinking: how can someone who’s not in love ...

Welcome to Sonia Voyage!🌻 Hey, are you okay? Had you have a drink today? I want all readers who come here to be healthy and happy❤ Let’s talk about poetry. Some people think it’s just a bunch of fancy words, but for me, poetry is like music made out of feelings, no instruments required, just your imagination. You see, poetry is all about expressing yourself, turning everyday moments into something magical. Believe it or not, I wrote my first poem back when I was in Elementary School. I was just a kid with a notebook, trying to make sense of the world around me. And guess what? That simple little poem became the spark that lit my passion for writing. Poetry doesn't need to be perfect or complicated, it's your personal canvas where you can splash your thoughts and emotions freely. So, if you’ve ever thought about writing poetry but felt too shy or unsure, I’m here to tell you, GO FOR IT! Poetry is for everyone, and trust me, once you start, you’ll find it’s more fun than you mig...

My First Blog Post: The Start of Something (Hopefully) Amazing

Hello, world! 🌍  Welcome to Sonia Voyage!🌻 My name is Uni Sonia Yulianti, but my friends call me Uni or just Sonia. And guess what? You’re reading my very first blog post! That’s right! This is where it all begins. So, a little about me! I’ve been in love with writing since I was 6 years old. Back then, while other kids were busy figuring out how to ride a bike without crashing into every lamppost, I was crafting my first story. It was about a kid fishing by the river, and let me tell you, it was a masterpiece. Well, sort of. The real masterpiece was how I managed to write the entire thing backward from the bottom of the page to the top. Maybe I was trying to be edgy, or maybe I was just confused about how paper works. But hey, it’s the thought that counts, right? Fast forward to today, and writing is still my jam. I love playing with words, whether it’s through poetry, short stories, or even this very blog post you’re reading. Apart from writing, I also enjoy belting out tunes (...
